How were you able to let out a size 10 skirt to fit a size 20?! (I know zilch about sewing and I am srsly curious.)

My waist is a 20, but my bottom is closer to a 16. The skirt was a balloon style, so all i had to do was take out the lining and put spandex on the sides. That is what those triangle things are on the side.

I think I need to make a skirt just like that! How do you let something out? So stylish and simple.

just rip out the seam, sew it back together closer to the edge or add fabric to both sides and voila!

i'm also a fan of animal prints, and you look stunning! i think you carry that beautifully bold pattern with confidence, and style, and i like that neckline/necklace pairing, too. i can see where you let it out, but i think it's pretty sleek and doesn't jump out as a 'fix'. well done, all around!

Wow. I'm not both impressed by your craftiness and how hot you look in your piece.
