Fun with Old Navy.

Mar 20, 2008 20:41

notblueatall posted some of her purchases from Old Navy, and requested that some other people do the same.  Since I finally figured out how to use the self timer on my camera, I thought I would oblige.  Actually, I just received these yesterday!

I think this is my first actual post with photos, though I have been lurking and commenting for a bit.  So, a tad about me:
I'm 33, from Oklahoma City. I'm a paralegal.  I just moved in with my boyfriend of 2 years, and we're having fun trying to figure out furnishings and cats (we have 4, all together, and they fortunately are all too lazy to really fight with one another).  I have a blog, which I don't update as frequently as I want to.

Stats: 5'9", 300-ish.  Generally wear a 26/28, depending on the brand.  I currently despise LB and their so-called "Right Fit" jeans.  (Apparently, I have enough of a butt that the yellows are too snug across it when they fit in the waist, and NOT enough of a butt that the pockets on the red are in the right place.)  As you will see in the photos, I have small boobs and no waist.

Those things said, here are some photos!  Please to be ignoring (a) the fact that my camera, despite its claim of red-eye reduction, clearly gives me lazers and (b) the cat who snuck into at least one photo.  Her name is Emily.  She has lazers too.

Jeans:  Old Navy "The Flirt" bootcut in a 26.  (I bought these several months ago, not sure if they still have the same wash.)

Shoes are from Kohl's and were on clearance for $6.

These jeans:  http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do?cid=16736&pid=526661&scid=526661002 in a 28 average.  (PS-they can bite me on marking these down more, too.  I need to call them and see if they'll give me a refund....)

Scarf was purchased from a vendor at Bonnaroo in 2006.

Shoes are from Kohl's.

One last note:  I hate my hair right now.  I just got some bad layers cut in it, I don't want it any shorter really, bangs bother me (my hair grows too fast, they have to be cut every three seconds, and plus, I look dumb with them)....*sigh*

Comments welcome!

EDIT:  Fixed the cut, thanks for letting me know.

ALSO:  I called Old Navy, and they refunded the difference in prices, so YAY.
