Survey for a paper, comments please!
Hi, I hope that this post is considered appropriate for the community. It is fat related, and somewhat fashion related if you consider wearing a desk fashion..? :) In any case, I am writing a paper for school regarding a policy change that I'd like enacted at my college. I have a few questions I'd like to get some answers to, as I need some primary sources for my paper. I figured this is the biggest and most vocal group I belong to, so maybe some of you can help me out. You can just comment to this post with your responses, or if you feel more comfortable you can email me at amidamnit@yahoo.com. 1) When taking classes at a college, are you or hav e you been affected by having to use seating that was too small for you?
2) If so, how do you feel it affected you? Specifically, do you think it affected your ability to learn, your grade in the class, and so on?
3) Do you think it should be a school's responsibility to accomodate students of all sizes?
4) How do you think that students of all sizes could be best served by their schools as far as seating accommodations are concerned?
5) Do you think that it is more important for a school to secure necessary seating options for all of its students, or to support leisure activities, community outreach, etc? If you were a student at a college that was enacting a policy to better serve people of all sizes, would you be agreeable to an increase in tuition costs in order to finance it?
