Loss of a beloved pet
We lost our sweet Qui-gon today. He was always my fat orange cat (for which I have the LJ name.) We had him for 16 years. Originally he was a stray that was homeless and hungry and living on handouts between a laundromat and a gas station during one of our worst winters here at the time. We brought him home and my son named him after a Jedi Knight.
I'm devastated of course. And this is the first time in almost 30 years we do not have an orange tabby in the house. We have the girls still so we aren't without lovely kitties. But he was my special old man and I miss him dearly.
