Things I have learned from my first year of college...WITH 4 DAYS TO GO...HELL YEAH!!!
-That I would change so much and barely realize it
-That I can love a lot of people in a lot of different ways
-That if you were smart in high school...so what?
-That if you weren't smart in high school...so what?
-That you can know everything and fail a test
-That you can know nothing and pass a test
-Home can be a great place to visit at times
-That most of what I have learned was obtained outside of class
-Friends are what makes college worthwhile
-That is it cool to wear a hat, scarf, and cloves in the winter
-That it is also cool to have an umbrella on you at all times
-A morning shower isn't as important as 15 minutes of extra sleep(I do that everyday)
-Little things DO NOT matter
-Who you were in high school doesn't mean a thing
-EVERYBODY PROCRASTINATES
-To show your true colors
-Who my true friends are***
-Sometimes going out can be an alternative for doing your homework
-Dormlife...WOW...enough said
-If I have $5 in my wallet I am rich
-To give everyone a chance because you never know how things will turn out
-Always accept anything that is free or being given away
-That just because you get sick doesn't mean to stop drinking or go home
-That my mom's cooking is SOOOOO GOOD!!!
-Sleep is over rated...and you get none
-That when you run out of toilet paper to either use the bathroom across the hall or steal their toilet paper
-That you must be careful when it's icy outside(this one's for alessia)
-That the weekend starts on thursday...or wednesday...or sometimes monday
-That there is no such thing a peace and quiet in the dorms
-That you cannot go to bed before 1 or 2...just doesn't work
-Not everyone will like you so just get over it
-Fucking with your roommates can be VERY entertaining(this ones for chrissy and one of my favorites...j/k love you)
-Finals=getting drunk
**The #1 thing I have learned is that being myself got me farther than I ever thought. And with that I have surrounded myself with the most wonderful people, so much love for ALL the girls on my floor...with mad props to my 607 Girlz, Krista Jo, Tiffy, Lindz, Jenny, Lauren, The new members of 608 Ashley and Amanda, Shmegs couldn't do it without you, Leslie, Brother Brad and the rest of the CRAZY ASS BOYS on the 7th floor, the love of my life Ethan, Aaron, the SAC crew, Caety, Audra, Mallory and the other 7th floor girls, not to forget the wonderful "our" friends Dug, Pete, Shanon and Kay.
CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR!!!! IT WILL BE EVEN BETTER!!!!
