Random thoughts
I had kind of a "blah" day yesterday, and couldn't figure out what caused it. It could have been the weather, the slow volume of calls coming in, my meds, or anything. I felt so good the day before, and I didn't do anything different personally yesterday, yet I had 2 totally different days. Weird.
My custom disk hasn't come in the mail. Still hoping that it comes in so I can sing those songs next week!
If you know anyone into edge weapons, please tell them NOT to purchase anything from "New Generation Web (NGW)" or their subsidiaries. They have poor customer service, do not follow through on their promises, and do not acknowledge their mistakes. I just received my last CHRISTMAS PRESENT in the mail on Tuesday! I'll explain in another post.
Does anyone know anyone who would be willing to make me a custom icon? If so please let me know. Thanks.
Once again one of my applications here at work is giving me fits, and prior attempts at tech support have not resolved the problem, other than to cite "user error" the old standby they use when they can't figure out what's wrong. One of the trainers watched me use the app and pronounced that there was no indication of me misusing the app or doing anything wrong. He gave me the name of one of the big shots in charge of that portion of tech support, who happens to be a good friend of his. I called the number and basically said, "Joe sent me", and all of a sudden there is a flurry of activity, and now I actually have people taking my issue seriously. Imagine that!
Now I am waiting for an access code for a work around app while they work on the problem. Funny how dropping a name gets you some action
