I am a Happy Man!
Dinner at Fujiya last night was fabulous! I sampled seabass (sushimi-raw), Cooked fresh water eel, soft-shelled crab, Caterpillar roll (Avocado, veggies, rice and eel), Spider roll (soft-shelled crab, veggies and rice), and started off with edemame (boiled and salted soybeans). I also enjoyed several cups of "Great Mountain" sake, and of course my favorite "Ogre Killer" (Onikokoshi). It was a wonderful time.
As I sit here today and think on the last five days, I am so thankful for what I have, and what has been given to me. I'm not talking about birthday gifts or other physical things. I'm talking about the love of my friends and T. When you have people in your life who truly love you, then you are rich beyond measure. Anything else that you get is pure gravy.
