Ok, now for weekend details.
On Friday i started the day by waking up and cleaning, it was a lot of fun though because Josh and I were cleaning the basement, aka, my room. So we pretty much got the entirety of my room clean. It looked fantastic. Then afterwards it was about 3:00 ish so i took a shower and got dressed. After that i pretty much just waited around for Tristin to show up. Tristin would equal the coolest girl on the planet. Oh, and she's beautiful too ;). Well I was finishing a chore and she calls me and tells me where she is so i could direct to my home. And after she got here i finished my chore and went out to help her carry her things on account of she was staying for the weekend.
When i first met her it was that whole, "I have no real idea who this person is and im kinda nervous" feeling, but it only took about five minutes for me to warm up to her. I showd her to my room and she told me that we were going to go out to eat with some of her friends at First Wok. Get this...She actually asked me if I had eaten at First Wok....I told her I hadn't in all the sarcasm i could muster. She just told me to shut up. So we went out to eat at First Wok, obviously, and i met her friends from Lincoln Christian College. It was kinda neat, because they were kind of nerdy, and so am I so i fit in. Afterwards we went to Fam Video and rented Saw I&II, The hills have eyes, and Hostel. We went back after driving around a bit and watched Saw. It was pretty much one of the coolest movies ever. We were going to watch Saw II but Tristin wasn't really up for another one. We ended up just going to sleep. The next morning we got up and were getting ready to head to Decatur. We were originally going so she could see her friends practice in their Jazz ensamble, but they ended up practicing early so we just went to go have lunch with her dad. It was pretty interesting and i think he liked me so im in the clear! But afterwards we went back to lincoln and planned on taking a nap, but then Josh called me and i told him to come over because I wanted him to meet Tristin. He came over and we started to watch Hostel, but then Moses, TJ, and Josh Staton came over and wanted us to go to the park. I figured, what the hey, we might as well go and have a bit of fun. So Josh, Tristin and I go to the park and we wait for them to show up. They finally get there about 20 minutes into a game of Hackey Sac between me and Josh and they had ended up dropping of TJ and picking up Adam! I was freaking excited. So we all hung out and shot pellet guns at each other. It really was a blast. After awhile we ended up trying to play a game of "fireball." Thats where you take the Hackey sac and set it on fire. We doused it in motor oil, but had nothing to actually ignite the sac. So we just played a game of motor oil soaked hackey sac. Afterwards Adam, Tristin and I all went back to my place where Tristin took a nap while Adam and I went out to mow the lawn and make supper.
Now its kind of confession time. Adam and I had gone outside to talk but during the process I told him where I had thrown away a pack of cigarettes. The night before Tristin had told me that she would quit if I quit, and it is really important to me that she doesn't smoke so I agreed. But saturday I sadly gave in and took a cigarrete and smoked it. All i could think about was how much I was letting her down by smoking. Not to mention my friends. So I looked at Adam and I told him he should quit with me so we could help each other and support each other. Right there and then we made a pact that we would never smoke again and we smashed the cigarettes on the ground and threw them away for good. I'm sorry Tristin and I hope you will forgive me for giving in.
After we finished the lawn with our tag team lawn mowing skills, we went inside and started to cook dinner. (Mac n cheese with hamburger and peas) After we woke Tristin up and ate we watched Hostel. It was really intense and gory. We also watched Failure to Launch before we took Adam home. Then we "watched" 40 year old virgin before we went to bed. Sunday morning was the only sucky part of my weekend because that was when she had to leave. Never have i found it harder to say goodbye. She lives so far away. But the day looked up, because I had Matt and Jessica's wedding to look forward to.
I waited till about 2:30 ish and I went to The wedding where I sat next to AJ. He started telling me some awesome stuff about Live Action Roleplaying (LARP) that he did at I-Con. Its really interesting and I'm thinking of doing it with the group he does it with.
Back to the wedding.
It was a really beautiful outdoor wedding. I'm not going to go into to much detail. It was really great to see Matt for the first time since he left for the Marines. AJ and I went to the reception and ate, and talked with matt for awhile. We are all supposed to get together before Matt has to go to Arizona, where he is stationed. He is moving there for 3 years..can you believe it!!! Well we said our hello's and don't leave us again's and we went to AJ's to pick up Adam, Chris and Amber so we could all go to the final night of I-Con. It was pretty neat. There was a guy there who does blacksmithing and he had made quite a collection of weaponry from video games, animes, movies and such. it was awesome. We pretty much just hung out there for awhile. Also, on the way home there were these guys in a mini-van like throwing gang signs, and pot signs and stuff so we drove up to the left side of them on the highway and I promptly pulled down my pants...and mooned them. In return the generous "Mini-vaners" threw a soda at our car.
Fun Times Were Had By All
