I fucking work at the Royal. Sure it's stigmatized as a "black" or "hip-hop" club, but there's other shit that goes on there as well. For all the boozehounds that I know, no one ever comes to visit me. Yeah, I know it's downtown; I practically live next door. (it's on the corner of spring and trinity).
I'm starting to do promotions/booking. This means that if you do not show up to one of my nights at least once, I'll no longer speak to you. You have until Feb. to comply.
The best night to show up would be Tuesday nights. I will make you a well drink for $3. That's a shot of liquor for $3. You will only hear music from the 80's or 90's, cheese included. This includes, but not limited to: booty bass, brit pop, 80's dance anthema, songs you know all the words to, but don't like to admit it...
