Well, tonight I went see three great bands at The Caterie. Meriwether, Greyline, & Anomaly.
Meriwther (www.meriwetherrock.com) started things off and gave us a good taste of what was to come. Stefon (guitar) had a lot of bad luck that night. He came unplugged a couple of times, jumped and half fell off the stage while unplugging himself a third time, and almost fell of his amp at the end (well he did fall off, but he stayed on his feet). Then Zac (Anomaly) came sing an almost-acoustic song with Drew (Meriwether) while the rest of the crew did a little dance number.
Then Greyline (www.purevolume.com/greyline)came on and these guys rocked the fuck out! I made good friends with Kyle (guitar) and he did a great job. He flipped his guitar a few times and did some excellent screaming. "Pray" is my favorite song by them.
Anomaly (www.anomalyonline.com) kicked it up a notch to finish things off. It was sad because this was their last show in Louisiana. They're leaving LA for L.A. to try and get a record deal (I want autographs). I slapped Zac on the ass a few times cuz he has a habit of bending over and his butt is all up in our faces. I'm gonna miss those guys.
By far I think tonight, Meriwether sounded the best, followed by Greyline, & Anomaly just had an off night sound-wise (they weren't mixed well), but since it was their last night I'm gonna still give them love. My best wishes goes out to them; make it big, but don't forget us.
