First Show @ The Caterie w/ Swords At Sundown
So I finally go to perform my first show with my band, Swords At Sundown, at the Caterie last night. It's been a dream of mine to play there ever since I started going to shows there and seeing my favorite bands. Weeks before the show I was really worried about stage fright. Last night before I went on, I was nervous but calm...very excited tho. Then as I started to see all of my best friends in the world show up to watch me play I was overwhelmed with happiness. Once I saw my friend Steve from Meriwether, and he told me that he was here to see me, instantly all of my nervousness subsided and I was ready to play.
We went on and played about a 30 minute set. I don't think we could have had a better first show if we wanted to! Things were flawless, we played our asses off, the crowd was LOUD, and we received so much positive feedback. I am so grateful to all of my friends that came out to watch us. I love you all so very much! I can't begin to explain how much so.
