I'm so glad you wrote this, this is cool! *g* Although the het is more disturbing than I would've thought- the Doctor just wasn't made to sit at home.

I know I'm not particularly fond of the het myself, writing it seems to have mellowed out my dislike though... :(

Oh, this is fantastic!

I'm endlessly amused that even in this world, Saxon's electorial platform was based purely on his pretty words and face, and moreover, it worked well enough that no one noticed until six months later. XD Oh Harry, never change.

The het left me a bit conflicted. It's wonderful to see Handsy happy and all, but oh god, it must be killing him to remember his own history and remain so still, poor boy.

Also, hee, Donna!voice. Because of course he has her in the back of his mind; she's probably a great part of his voice of reason.

A very intriguing chapter, I can't wait for the next!

Thank you! Oh he's the master of pretty words (obviously) and I'm sure Pete's world was crying out of someone who seemed amazing in the wake of the cybermen.

Yeah I was definitely conflicted writing it, but my favourite kind of fic is the ones that deal with canon in in a plausible way to get to the point you want to, so I thought I'd try it!

I always thought it was a bit odd that the Doctor foisted the humanDoctor onto Rose as a perfect replcement when they made a big point earlier of showing his Donna-isms. Surely he wouldnt be exactly the Doctor Rose remembers?
