Awwwwww it's "Loveless"! this is the second BL I saw after Gravitation and one of the first manga I wanted to read after Angel Sanctuary and Tsubasa! Even just the mention of this title gives me a nostalgic feeling... I saw the anime more than 4 years ago...

I especially like the characters and the way they interact. Like the cute and sadistic Zero pair and the way Seimei acts sooo differently towards Ritsuka alone. Than there is that pitiful side of Ritsuka, who thinks he deserves to be hit by his mom and is afraid he'll disappear if his memories come back.

Of course, the way Soubi is sooo afraid of Seimei is really interesting. You can't really tell if he's just submissive or is afraid. Plus his teacher, Ritsu who was overly obsessed with him beat him and gave him to weird young Seimei... who also beat him... That's so sad!!! So he became a masochist. This part kind of makes sense. I can't believe how he kept telling Ritsuka to punish him :O:O

Makes sense to suspect this is shota... I wonder why I never thought that. Hm... maybe because 4 years ago I didn't know what shota was :P Ah... the innocent old days hahahahaha

I think the anime stopped at the best part! It's really an interesting story XD

Time flies. 4 years ago I wasn't into BL. LOL I'm still not into shota/loli though. While the content is very on the edge of romance, I don't consider this BL.

It's difficult to figure out who is the most tortured character. Ritsuka who gets abused by his mother; or Soubi who got sexually molested as a child by his teacher, taught physical pain, and tortured into machocism by Seimei. They're personalities are bound to be messed up.

Urr, I still want to know why Ritsuka lost his memories. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if Seimei had something to do w/ it.

The anime was completed before Vol 5 was published, so they purposely left the ending open ended in case a second season was produced. The anime definitely leaned lightly toward BL, unlike the manga. It also didn't focus too much on the Ritsuka's abuse.
