Summary: Shiina Momose doesn't believe in fortune telling and the occult, but for some reason, anything she touches destroys easily! One day while she was on her way to school, a young man approaches her. He claims to be a god and believes that he was guided towards her. For that he had become convinced that she should become his first follower! Naturally, Momose refused; but when strange things began to happen... she can't not do something about it!
Review: I was surprised how much I enjoyed this series. It’s a refreshingly unique story about an uber arrogant spirit from the Heavenly world trying to become a god on Earth. Shiina has been nicknamed the “God of Destruction” by her friends because anything she touches gets destroyed. One day she happens to meet Amane, a tyrant that demands her to be his first follower as a God. Thinking he’s insane, she ignores him and leaves. However, to both their surprises, neither of them can be apart a certain distance, and whatever happens to one will happen to the other. W/ one bad luck after another, Shina ends up hosting Amane at her house becoming his “possession”.
The story is really unique, and I do like both Shiina’s and Amane’s personality. Shiina is certainly not the standard shoujo heroine, and she’s got a nice plucky attitude, while Amane is both sadistic, tyrannical, and naïve at the same time. It’s a great combination.
The artwork is also very pretty. I’m not positive on the status on the future of the series, but it’s one of my favorite shoujo series.
