Summary: Most girls are crazy about jewelry, but not Yamamoto Anise. Not since her father gave her a rose choker as a child, claiming it was a protective amulet which would safeguard her from harm; however, if she ever took it off (a feat easier said than done!), she would be afflicted by a “punishment” of some sort- not like it matters to her, since the attention it attracts around school from faculty and students alike isn’t something she’s particularly fond of. But after a certain incident causes the choker to disappear, she realizes that this punishment her father spoke of might have been a bit more than she bargained for!
Review: I'm weak to bishies, so even if the plot is lame which this one certainly is; I'll keep going on drooling over the harem of eye candy. This is from the same mangaka as "Junketsu + Kareshi".
Anise is told never to take off her choker by her father or she'll receive some sort of punishment. However, it's caused her endless grief in school by the disciplinarians and the delinquents. One day when it falls off by accident, she ends up uncovering a secret. With 4 cards in hand, if she kisses it, 4 of the hottest guys in her school will appear instantly as knights w / rose type of powers. The seal of the Devil is now about to break, Anise, now a Dominion and her 4 knights must find the rest of the 22 Arcana cards to reseal the Devil. To find the cards, they have to participate in things like idol challenges or amusement park dates (believe me it’s as lame as it sounds).
There’s not as much action and lots of posturing (think Hakouki), which is a pity. In addition, the heroine is real ditz, she has neither brains or much super powers (other than some sort of vines?)
The artwork is the only plus thing of this series, I mean the guys are serious lookers. The plot has potential, so I’m hoping it’ll get better.
