Summary: One day while walking home from her job, Kurumi Akino finds a wounded young man, and saves his life. He mysteriously disappears after that, and leaves only the name “Hakuron”. Next thing she knows she’s been kidnapped from her school, and is on a private jet with that man, heading to China. It turns out she saved the life of the most infamous mobster in Hong Kong, and he wants her to stay with him.
Review: This is one of the first shoujos I ever read. Girl becomes Yakuza boss’s girl, and then she gets targeted pretty much by everyone. The artwork is good and I always liked the Yakuza is pretty much romanticized most of the times. My only complaints were the whole school settings. The main Yakuza guy and his henchmen were just high schoolers? They looked old and acted old. If the setting were w/ a regular age group, it would have been different. I would have liked it even more if it didn’t have a tragic ending.
