Nephilim Race
The Nephilim are shrouded in mystery that only seemed to surface in popularity recently. They are old creatures of myth and lore, supposedly killed by the flood of Noah. Nephilim start out as typical human beings, but eventually mutate into grotesque forms when the 'hunger' corrupts them.
Most slowly degenerate into intelligence, from that of a regular person to that of an animal. This shift happens after many centuries of life. Young Nephilim call these mutated humanoids 'Old Ones'.
All Nephilim known for infecting people and turning them into their bumbling slaves. They're also known for draining a victim of their life force before finally devouring them physically.
Nephilims are extremely physically powerful, putting myths of vampires and werewolves to shame. However, they are not without their weaknesses. Vampires don't like sunlight, and the Nephilim don't like the elements.
Mutations in Old Ones can take many forms. Some appear quadrupedal (much like Marvin in his demonic form) while others can be seen sporting anything from two legs to twenty. They're always dangerous, and always a cause for alarm.
