1. John Preston's score on the CEAPT (Citizenry Education and Placement Test) is one of the highest in the test's recorded history. It doesn't classify him as a genius but it did make placing him in a profession difficult. Librian children are required to take the CEAPT test to determine their future career path, testing in areas from Medical technologies to basic mechanics, Preston scored high in all areas. Citizens who do not pass the CEAPT are considered substandard and labelled for immedite destruction. Citizens who score above average in all areas are usually placed within the Monestary.
2.Preston's parents are both dead. His mother (Alice Machievelli Preston) held a high ranking position with the second concillary and his father (John Preston Senior) was a high ranking Cleric Offical. Both died when Preston was an infant under circumstances that require his family's file to be labelled "Classified" He was raised in the monestary from infancy, beginning his instruction much earlier then the scheduled age of six.
3. Preston's the youngest cleric to make first class at 32, beating out his former Partner's record at 39, and Dupont's at 40. He was also the youngest person in the history of the tetragrammaton to make second-class Cleric, at the age of 16.
4. Preston's ignorance about EC-10 material is not feigned for amusement. Libria has completely excercised devices like Record players, CD players, computers, and video materials. Everything in libria is done via either Voice recognition or by hand-believing that computers were a link to far too much information.
5. Preston was married at 21 (a standard librian age if your genetic makeup is deemed acceptable by the department of relations and marriages) to Vivianna Dochevsky, an Archivist. Marriages are rated on a success probability factor taking into account Genetics, background, family history, loyality, devotion to father, etc. While other marriages recieved a twelve or thirteen percent rating, John and Vivianna were rated an incredible 98%.

9. Pre-upheval Clerics and the police of Libria-that-was used a mechanical dog-like monster called a "Hound" to catch and sniff out sense offenders. These were ultimately discontinued when Father came to power. Preston is trained in repairing and building these creatures.
10.Several days before Errol Partridge's execution, Preston reported to Vice-Council Descartes (Chief of Medical Technologies and the Tetragrammaton facilities) His dose having been off for quite some time. It is unknown what is causing the change in those taking Prosium. Preston suffers from several allergies, which is believed to be a factor of the sudden change in his dose and his reaction to it. (Most of Libria suffers from incredible allergies which (surprise) are believed to be a consequence of the massive nuclear attacks that happened several years before.
