You can't have "laws" in a place like this because the necessary structure for them does not exist, and relying on whatever bullshit moral codes or laws you live by in

There's a difference between following a moral code and forcing it onto everyone else.

And do you honestly think "everyone" would want to do that? Or that "laws" would stop people from doing it if they did?

There is no order here, and the supposed "authority figures" aren't worth shit. They can't even keep order in their own house, let alone help others make it for them, so making "laws" would be damned near impossible, even if you could find enough people who wanted them.

They'd be "worth shit" if we elected them. Whoever didn't like them would have to go screw themselves, which is what they do anyway, so why does it matter?

And who decides if that's fair, in a place where people come from so many different worlds? You? Me? You may think you're qualified, but I won't pretend I am.

If they'd "go screw themselves" anyway, then what would be the point of "laws" or elected officials in the first place? If you can't find someone who is not only respected by everyone, but strong enough to make sure the laws are enforced, then there's no point to even making them.
