CREWMATES
Gohan: Kakarot's son (as well as the first voice he heard after arriving in Discedo). Bardock isn't really sure what to think of his grandson simply because he's still wrestling with the fact that 1) he's not dead even though he should be, and 2) that he actually has to deal with the consequences of being a (grand)father now. His initial impression of the boy, though (which still stands), is that he's too soft/nice to be a true Saiyan. Still, of the other two relatives Bardock has in Discedo, he gets along with Gohan the best, simply because the boy hasn't argued with him or asked him a bajillion questions. He's curious about him as well because given what he knows about his son's future, Bardock very much wants to know what kind of legacy his bloodline has created. However, he'll probably remain somewhat stand-offish for now since Gohan obviously hasn't guessed who he is, and he can see that Vegeta has staked something of a claim on his grandson. This, to his mind, is a good thing, as he knows Vegeta will train him just as well (or better) than he could.
Yamcha: The human. He's only spoken to him once so Bardock doesn't know enough about Yamcha to care about him one way or another. The fact that Yamcha knows his son might give Bardock a reason to talk to him later, but for now, he's opting not to inquire too much about his son, period.
Bulma: The brat. But not just any brat, mind you--she's a self-absorbed, self-impressed, idiotic brat. Bardock doesn't understand how a girl like her ever even got near his son, let alone made friends with him, if what she's told him is true, and he'd like nothing better than to smack her a new one. Still, more than likely, he'll just wind up trying to annoy her on purpose in his own "I don't give a shit about anything you say" kind of way.
Goten: Kakarot's other son, semi-not really-affectionately known as "Boy". Goten strikes him as lazy and ignorant and seems to lack any kind of the discipline that is vital to being the kind of warrior Bardock would expect any Saiyan to be. However, despite the harsh tone he often takes with Goten, Bardock doesn't actually really blame Goten for this. If anything, he's disgusted that Kakarot has neglected the training and education of his own son in the ways of their race. Thus, he has taken it upon himself to whip Goten into shape, a task that he will relish since it gives him the opportunity not only to train himself, but also a means of watching his legacy grow and excel before his very eyes.
Vegeta: The Prince of all Saiyans. His leader and superior. Bardock's feelings about him are...complicated. For while he can more readily identify with Vegeta because of their similar heritage and does respect Vegeta's rank and power to be above his own, Bardock has also seen fragments of the future--a future in which Vegeta, a 1st-Class Saiyan, is defeated by a 3rd-Class Saiyan, his son Kakarot. Therefore, his situation is somewhat complicated in his own eyes because he is proud of Kakarot's accomplishments and questions the point of class divisions when it's clear that his son has shattered them. Still, whatever his misgivings about that particular hierarchy, Vegeta is a fellow Saiyan, and Bardock feels an obligation to be there should the other need him.
Pan: Kakarot's granddaughter. The other brat. Much like Goten, he finds her to be extremely ignorant, not to mention annoyingly stubborn and headstrong (in which he is beginning to see the family resemblance, yes). She also has none of the respect that Goten seems to have for him and an attitude that simultaneously amuses and grates on him to the point where he thinks if the "spoiled, teenage brat" part could be taken out, there would be a worthwhile Saiyan there. Because of this, Bardock is actually that much more determined to see her educated--which he will, at some point. In the meantime, though, he pretty much thinks of her as a headache--someone that has to be watched to make sure she doesn't do something stupid. He's not completely unsympathetic, though, as he does understand the awkwardness of her position simply because he has also tried to change the future. Since that's the case, he will be keeping an eye on her, just like he'll be watching all of his descendants.
Trunks: Yet another idiot who knows Kakarot. He's only spoken to Trunks once so he has yet to form any other sort of assessment beyond that. If/Whenever he finds out who exactly Trunks is, that's very likely to change, but for now Bardock will probably only speak to him for the purpose of gathering information, since he clearly seems to know some things about the future.
