An Actual Update
So my senior recital went well.
For one, my professor showed up a half hour late. This infuriated me and relieved me at the same time: he has never been late to one of his student's recitals, yet mine seems to be the magic #1. But the good news is he cannot give me a bad grade because he fucked up royally. Who knows? Maybe he will be equally fucked up and give me a C, in which I will see Gina to report his idiocy. (If he gives me anything below a B, I call shenanigans.)
Everyone that showed up was awesome. I can't thank everyone enough for actually being there for me. There were about four people from the music building there that were not doing behind-the-scenes stuff, so that was an interesting surprise. Besides that, a lot of people I actually care about showed up, and quite a few had circumstances beyond their control to contend with. So for everyone: THANK YOU.
In other news: my birthday came and went. Thanks for all the birthday wishes to those who gave them. For those that were unaware: I apologize. I do not keep a public record of my birthday online, and tend to use a fake one. So cheers to being 22!
Things have not improved on the home front. My brother still refuses to talk to me. However, he should have been a big enough man to at the very least text message me "Happy Birthday". I guess that is too much to ask for from a person such as him, but that only proves to me how inadequate this situation is and why it has not been corrected.
All issues aside, always a good time. Contact me through the normal routes to talk to me. I like hearing from people and the like.
