My time here as been nothing short of epic. I'm happy to report that I finished grading the first tests that I have given to one of my classes and the results were excellent. I have never received such satisfaction, nor felt such a unique connection with people than when I teach something to someone and in turn see them correctly use the information I gave them. It is undescribable. And so in thinking about this and how I feel this way even with the short time I am given with these amazing people, I realized that I cannot imagine the wonderful feeling that parents gain from seeing their children grow up and adjust. I have a greater respect now for all parents. I met up with a pair of photo-journalists from Ukraine yesterday, and they have offered me to go with them down to the border of Khazikstan with them this weekend where they are wanting to write some info obout a riot that took place 2 days ago in a small industrial town near Slavgorod and some people were shot. We are going to have to be careful though because apparantly the local law-enforcement troops there are being somewhat unfriendly with outsiders at the moment. Especially those who are asking questions about what happened. I'm definatly going to need to tread lightly and watch my ass on this one, but what the hell.
