It's Been Awhile ...
It's been awhile. I haven't had a want or a need to write for a long time. But if you're interested ... I'm Djing again, I work an average of 45 hours a week after going through a hellish month where it was closer to 65. I work as the local grunt at Old Time Pottery since that place has no room for advancement and I DJ and do karaoke about 4 nights a week. Time has neither been kind nor unkind to me. I'm just here plugging away, trying to get ahead, and only slightly succeeding. I have some goals set for once in my life. Not very big ones, but ones that I think are attainable and in doing so, will make my life a bit easier. I'm taking it one step at a time because I have no other way to do it. Leaps and bounds is so far out of reach, I'd need one of those grabber things you see advertised on TV to get it. But I'm average. Some people I will never understand their thinking and that makes me sad a bit, to know that they're out there, doing things that I don't understand and never will. It's like a puzzle that someone places in front of you and says, "Try this, but don't try too hard, cause you'll never figure it out."
