Not much overly exciting is going on with us, but I thought I'd make an entry anyway.
I am taking a cake decorating class at Michaels. It is fun, but a lot of work. I haven't been practicing as much as I should, and we have to take a frosted layer cake to class each week. Next Tuesday is our last class; in addition to the cake, we're supposed to take our best 7 roses from our practicing to put on the cake. Kevin thinks I should continue with course 2 in July, I think I'd like to wait until next summer. We'll see.
On Monday night Showman will be returning to the states. He'll be staying with us some for a couple months, but I suspect he'll do some traveling too. I'm pretty uninformed. It will be interesting. Much easier than the last person living with us.
Speaking of Kiata, she is doing a little better, but she still just has so many issues. We visited her last night, she was extremely uninterested in us. She just sat there, mostly giving one word replies to anything we said. (Unless we asked something she didn't like, then she would say "none of your business" in a very snotty tone.) She doesn't make it real enjoyable to visit her.
Baby is getting bigger! I've worn maternity pants a couple of days, since my khakis are getting a little tight. Jeans are still ok, I wear them slightly baggy anyway. It's kind of exciting, but people tell me I'll be so sick of maternity clothes by the time I actually have the kid. Probably true.
He's also been moving around-just little movements most of the time, but yesterday he gave a BIG kick, like he was trying to bust out of there or something. It's crazy. (No, we don't know the gender, and probably won't find out, I just say "he" because I don't like to say "it.") Almost half way already!
Last weekend we went to a bunch of garage sales and found some bargain baby stuff. We went from nothing to stroller/carseat set, changing table, pack & play, and a cute toychest bench thing. Yeah!!
