HILL AIR E US!
Kathy Griffin rawks! We went to see her at the Orpheum on Friday night and were so entertained. Never been to see a comic before, but she made it worth it. I could write a huge review of it, but my brain is not functioning yet so I'll just say that we had a wonderful time and loved it.
However, I had a VERY stinky (alcohol and stale at that) man next to me who had definite space issues. He constantly invaded my space and kept touching me. UGH! I was disgusted and nauseous almost the whole time from his stench. Why do I always get those kind of people by me at concerts, etc? I was leaning so far towards Nick to stay away from him that I ended up with a huge headache from it (and I assume the stench as well). Fucker.
While we were in the venue we got a voicemail from........ The ELLEN DEGENERES show. We've been aiming to get tickets for when we are in the LA area in November and we got them! We're both PSYCHED! I'm psyched to see Ellen and just to see a TV show tape. Call me a nerd, but I like to see the process and never have. Possibly, maybe, we may even be on camera (in the audience) ?? I would love to get my mom to dance pre-show somehow and end up on camera! Gaw, I could not see my mom dancing...the thought of it makes me laugh and cringe at once. She's such a nordic gal with no rhythm!
I've been sick, off and on, for 3 weekends straight now. It really SUCKS to be sick on MY time. I think, I hope, it is the tail end of it as I just have a lingering cough and wheezing. It would be nice to be healthy again. It's surprising to me because when I am sick I almost forget what it feels like to feel well. Funny how feeling well, or even just normal, is taken for granted.
Have I mentioned I love my Heidi Klum hair more now than I did when I cut it 4 weeks ago? Bangs actually look good on me!
Well, it's nearing 8 am now. Guess its time for me to refill my coffee cup and decide if I shower and stay up for the day or crawl back in my cozy bed with all the snoring animals!
