Facebook Attrition

I used to be really big on Facebook, adding everyone I met. I didn't expect deep friendships (though I made some really good friends that have lasted years), but I caught glimpses into other people's lives - lives that were different to mine.

From time to time, I notice people dropping off, the infamous "unfriend". It's not a big deal but I think it's a little bit sad.

A friend of a friend is apparently now in politics, running for a seat somewhere in my city. I suppose I was removed for Facebook hygiene principles.
