The Other James Bond
I was sitting down to dinner and didn't recognise Bond's features in the movie that the restaurant was playing, so it had to be On Her Majesty's Secret Service. The puns were horrific, the acting rather so-so, and I was feeling curiously sorry for the henchmen. I couldn't help but chuckle when one of these poor individuals skied under a snow-blowing plough, turning the outflow red and Bond quipped "He had a lot of guts". Indeed, Mr Bond.
Several elderly dinners were watching too.
After the movie ended the waitress remarked, "That's terrible, what a sad ending."
An old woman replied, "You should see Casino Royale. It makes me cry every time I see it. Better acting too."
Her husband chimed in, "Let's put on Avatar!"
I wish they did too.
