Staples had a sale on Thumb-drives, so I bought 3 little 4-gig memory sticks, which I'm naming after the Gorgons. Part of me is very excited that I will have all my data-transferring needs taken care of for the foreseeable future. Another part of me is aware that carrying now four portable memory devices on my person at all times makes me uncomfortably close to ending up in a Hackers montage. I love Hackers, but I have no way of knowing if my thumb-drives will lead me to become the smooth and powerful Crash Override, or whether I'll end up as...UltraLaser.
