Spent most of the day at States (magic). Definitely the biggest tournament I've ever played in and definitely consisting of the most hard-core players. I didn't get in the top 16 like I was really hoping, but I went 5-2 and placed 22 out of 120 people. Very respectable, I'd say. I'm happy with it anyways.
So now that's done with and testing can stop. Which means back to art and LJ and talking to people in general. I'm happy about that too. I enjoyed the whole experience of really ironing out a top deck and testing it with friends and walking into a tournament with justifiably high hopes. But now it's time for magic to take a step back and to get back to living. Hooray!
Bonus points: Of the seven people I played today, a total of zero were jackasses. That's fantastic.
