(no subject)
I have pre-decided that this is going to be an uncomfortable day. You see, I work with kids. All day. Kids like to play. Kids do not like to play inside all day. Therefore we will be playing outside today. It is going to be 96 degrees out today with a heat index of over 100 degrees. It is going to be a very uncomfortable day.
In other news, Jeff and I finally sent out the last of our thank you cards. It took forever to get them all written. It is a very good feeling. We have also unpacked all of our boxes. Yes, we feel accomplished.
Jeff ordered me a new camera yesterday for an early birthday present!!!! It should be here wednesday or thursday so be expecting pictures!!! Just in time for his family reunion. Those are always exciting in his family. Lots of food, games, volleyball, and total chaos....but loads of fun. Can't wait!
This weekend was nice. I had friday off so I cleaned and did laundry and went to the gym. When Jeff got home from work we went out to eat and watched movies all night. Saturday morning we got up and went to the farmers market with my mom. We purchased delicious peaches and bread and snickerdoodles and sweet corn. Then we took Jeff to the doctor because he had a nasty ear infection. Later we drove to Marshalltown with a Nick and Willys pizza for his parents. We ate and watched movies. Yesterday we slept in and then went grocery shopping. In our down time we have been watching my One Tree Hill dvds. Jeff is hooked! Season 2 should be coming in the mail soon. haha.
I just realized that I am going to be 25 yrs old, in less than a month. This scares me.
Well, I must go fill my water bottle before I go to work. Enjoy this most uncomfortable day.
