I am now Mrs. Doll. Jeff and I got married on Saturday! It was amazing! I can't even begin to describe how appreciative I am for all of the support that we recieved. My girls were there for me all day Friday and Saturday. Jeffs guys also. And Joe our photographer was there both days snapping photos of everything. Everyone worked so hard decorating and setting everything up. The rehearsal and dinner was a blast. There were about 30 of us together that day and night. Things got a little crazy but all in good fun. Tina and Josh chugged little bottles of bubbles then ended up with burning throats. So funny!!! The wedding day was exciting. My stomache ache went away and I was at peace. We finished decorating and mom and I got our nails done. The girls showed up and we started getting ready. Tina P did my makeup and hair and it was beautiful! Everyone looked sooo hot!! Family then started arriving for pictures. This is always the worst. I hate getting my pictures taken. After 2 hours of flash after flash...guests started arriving. At this time I took off down to my room to wait. I could hear the music upstairs and started getting soooo excited. Then everyone came piling in to get in the order for the processional. And then it was time. I laughed the entire way down the aisle. And throughout the service, I was so right, the guys cried more than the girls, with the exception of Jeffs mom of course...haha. And if you were there, you remember the vows....Jeff could hardly speak he was so emotional. And me, I just giggled my way through them. Apparently during the exchanging of rings, when I put his ring on, I pinched his finger...you should have seen his face...haha. As the ceremony came to a close we ran out of the room to Stretch Armstrongs rendition of "Melt with you" then came back in to release the congregation. As we then exited the building, there was a crowd waiting outside ringing little bells. We took some more pictures in the sunset and headed to the reception. This part was interesting. The toasts were so sweet, Tyler and Jeffs brother were so wonderful I almost cried. Then came Shannas....it was so funny....and at the end the rest of the girls stood up and sang "You Are My Sunshine" to me in front of everyone. (Every so often Shanna will sing this to me on my voicemail when I don't answer the phone". Jeff and I did our first dance to "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds and then just had random music playing in the background for the rest of the night. As some of the people started to leave, Jeff did the garter (most embarrasing ever) and I tossed my bouquet. This was brutal. Jeffs cousin beat up my bridesmades to get the bouquet. Then the dancing began. There are no words to describe how awesome Jon and Jason were, but hopefully soon I will get the pictures to show you.
Then it was time to depart to our lovely "Celebration Suite" haha. The girls had attacked my car with toilet paper and wrote all over it in what smelled like deodrant. haha. We got so many honks and waves as we took off. The rest of the night is private so we will fast forward to the next day. we got up and went out to breakfast together. Then met some friends at our apartment to open gifts. We got EVERYTHING!! The next morning we left for Chicago. We went shopping...Ikea, Diesel, Urban Outfitters, Puma...but we spent the most money by far at G Star Raw!!!! We went to the museum and saw a DiVinci event. We drove a lot and spent a lot of time with Jon. It was sooo much fun. And now life begins. I am so sorry this is so choppy and probably horrifying when it comes to grammatical correctness...but I am typing with annoying french nails and am in a hurry to begin my duties as a submitting wife.......laundry. I love all of you that came to help make our day so unforgettable.
