Jaye closes the door and picks up the phone.
"Hey," Mahandra greets her.
"Hi," Jaye greets her back, maybe a little happily.
There's a pause. "What did you do?"
"
Something trampy."
"Again?"
"Shhhh," Jaye says. "There will be no yelling at me.
He's hot."
"You flingenating whore," Mahandra says, but doesn't sound particularly upset.
"It is not flingenating. It was a one night stand type thing. Except the standing part."
Mahandra sighs. "TMI, TMI, TMI, tell me more."
"No."
"Tease!" she accuses. "So is this just someone you neglected to mention?"
Jaye shakes her head, taking a seat on her bed. "Nope. We got a whole freaking TON of new students in. You can't go anywhere without tripping over one."
"So that's what you're calling it now."
Jaye sticks her tongue out at the phone, not caring that Mahandra can't see it. "Sh. They are friendly. I
got asked out by one,
accidentally saw one naked- DO NOT SAY ANYTHING IT MADE ME CONSIDER LESBIANISM-"
"How's that working out for you?"
"Sharon's territory is safe. I think I confused
one girl-"
"Good job."
"Thank you. There's the
guy I hate and I don't know I totally had sex on his bed, ha and then he went and
done blowed himself up-"
"Oh my god! Seriously!"
"Oh, there was a clinic visit. The dummy," says Jaye. "And the best part? The guys have no problem
taking off their shirts. Well,
the one guy."
Mahandra goes quiet. "You liar."
"You don't believe me?"
"No."
"It's true. I will get pictures."
"I need to go there."
"You so do."
"Do you still know any of the old people, or is it all NEW NEW NEW?" Mahandra wonders.
Jaye shrugs. "
Logan left. I missed Angela and Marty leaving. Angel's gone so I was
Little Bunny Foo Fooing in the common room so Callisto wouldn't cry... And
Veronica said she's teaching a photography workshop I think I'm gonna take, but..."
"To better capture the shirtlessness?"
She grins. "You know me so well. So what's up with you?"
"Not much. You've got the interesting stuff. When are you coming to visit?"
"I'll find a time," Jaye says. "I might come in in a couple weeks, for the weekend or something. Keep the parents from trying to drag me out for the summer entirely."
"Talk to your mom yet?"
Jaye pauses, and starts cursing.
"Bad child."
"She's psycho and I was busy with the pretty boy!"
"Get to it!"
"Fine!"
"Fine!"
"Fine! Hang up now!"
"You hang up!"
"No, you-"
