Startled, Dana glances up. She'd missed the sound of someone approaching and now she's looking up at an impeccably dressed, astonishingly beautiful woman.
Shifting in her seat by the window, she realises she must be looking at her, the great Helen Magnus, and she must look dreadful.
Starting to get up, a slower process than it was a few months ago, she apologises, "I'm sorry, I didn't realise anyone could hear me."
Pulling her feet beneath her, she leans back against the wall. The window seat offers a beautiful view of the cloudy sky.
"I am," she offers softly, hating her eyes for still stinging. If she's going to cry in front of her, Magnus should at least know her first name. "Please, call me Dana, if you like."
"And forgive me for hiding in your library, Doctor." She doesn't quite know how to explain why she's hiding from Will and James and Owen. They've all being so kind but talking to them just quickly becomes overwhelming. "Everyone was so busy decorating, I thought it would be empty."
