Thing(s) I did not know until I saw tonight's re-run of The Daily Show:
  

William Jennings Bryan--the same Bryan after whom the road between Mayberry and Stewart is named--was the prosecutor in the Scopes Monkey Trial.

It seems so out of place because a lot of his other philosophies seem admirable, then he goes and does that. You so crazy, WJB.
