Writer's Block: You Wouldn't Understand

Oh wow, my family needs it's own lexicon for all our fun phrases... most were ganked from movies, but some were from funny family stories...

"It was plain Vernor's" - a story that is completely pointless and serves no purpose.

"we only sell the right shoe" - a comment when someone makes a really stupid, obvious comment like "hey! water's wet!"

we also speak in movie quotes all the time.  Sometimes a quote will conjure up just the right mood where other words may not.  Most of those come from the movie Labyrinth, Interview with the Vampire, or The Lion in Winter.
