Just Want To Summarize What Happened During Break :)
Friday: really relaxing..don't remember doing much in school..got candy from Jessica and Kenney =D. That was really nice considering the fact that they were basically the only real presents I got this year . Came home and practiced like hell for the recital I had on Saturday.
Saturday: Woke up and practiced A LOT...left for the place at like 11 I think and got there okay..(didn't get lost like the last time ). Got there...turned out to be a piano store in Annandale..played for a bit on the piano only to find out that it was a very crappy piano. I was like fuck...so yeah didn't play as well as I could have and it was the last piano recital too . My piano teacher is leaving at the end of this month and I dunno where we're going to find another one in arlington . Anyway after the recital was over, came home, and then dad took me to see the Last Samurai. Dudessssss that was such an awesome movie. It had more of a lasting impact than ROTK. I dunno why..but that movie just...WOW. It blew me away. Tom Cruise = new favorite american actor. I hope everyone gets a chance to see it. And if you don't ..I'm going to be like this and come after you and beat yo ass down. Haha..yeah =P.
After that...spent the rest of the week basically cleaning for the huge huge huge family party we had on Thursday while watching lots of movies at night. I remember watching Romeo Must Die (Jet Li = new favorite asian actor- Chinese + hotness to the max degree..sighh hehe) and also Deep Blue Sea (okayish...not as scary as I wanted it to be).
Thursday: Party was great. Almost all my relatives on the east coast came...house was definitely full =D. Everyone loved the remodeling we'd done. Lots of tasty food..lots of activities going on. Most of the adults played Mahjong (cousin Iris taught me how to play.hehehehehe); The rest of the adults watched chinese music videos or movies; some of us played ping pong or played Uno or surfed on the comp. It got sorta boring in the middle and two of my cousins left to go shopping for a bit. Overall though..I loved it . Family parties are the best!
Friday: Woke up at like 11:15 (since I went to bed so late the night before)..ate a quick lunch..and then the whole family (for the first time ever!) went to see ROTK! It was a spectacular movie . I don't know if I could compare it to the Last Samurai but both were amazing. Enough said.
Can't remember what happened during the weekend...cleaned up the house...
Tuesday: Went to the video store and rented Minority Report and bought Matrix Reloaded and X-men 2. I'd only seen X2 so I was really excited about seeing the others. Saw Minority Report that night...GREAT MOVIE!!!!! (Heheheh only rented it in the first place because Tom Cruise was in it =D). Steven Spielberg is such a genius.
Wednesday: Went swimming in the afternoon..was nice..haven't been to the pool in awhile and the knowledge of school starting really soon just washed away in the water. Watched Matrix Reloaded that night...pretty good! Unfortunately I heard the third one doesn't match it and has some holes .
Thursday: New Years! Did some work in the afternoon while watching Minority Report again and the Special Features disc. Gah the whole film-making process and the final product = leaves me speechless. I'm so excited because not only will I be taking the Video Production class 4th quarter this year, I also plan to take the Films Study Course next year with Mr. Pollet .
I haven't really made any resolutions for 2004. I still can't even believe it's the year 2004. Time has lost all meaning for me..each day just drags into another..but I want to put a stop to that. I just want to be happy and sastisfied with everything. I guess my goal for this year is to actually do something if I'm unhappy with the way things are going. Yeah..that sounds good =D! Well I think I've reached my limit for typing in coherent sentences for tonight. Byeee and I hope everyone will have a great new year and start off with a clean slate again!
