Tired!!!!
Okay so, Yesterday... was an odd day I suppose, but good. So none the less... lets get started...
First was school... it was just the same, old, crappy school.
After school I went home, and my mom came and got me and we got my drumset ready and packed in the car. Then we went to her house, I sat around there watching movies of me playing drums. It was kind of cool, then I sat around and watched tv till about 5:30. We headed up to the club then. Ryan got there a little after 6. We took my drumset in and got it set up. He talked to my mom for a little while. He had to make a few phone calls too. So we didn't really get started till about 6:25 ish. He didn't have a distortion pedal so we had to go by whatever the sound through the P.A. system was. It wasn't really that bad. But it didn't kind of suck. We ran through some of the songs. Turns out Ryan is one of those guys that doesn't really like complicated drum beats, so I had to stick to a basic rock beat. I mean, its still awesome. Its just I can't exactly 'add' much to the band, aside from technique. Christine got there about 7:30 or so. Ryan talked to this guy Derrick for a while, and eventually Christine was like... Come on Ryan, so that got him motivated. We started playing the rest of the set. It was pretty cool. We got through most every song, I had a little trouble with 'She Loves Me in Blue'. But I got it down really fast. I think Ryan was amazed by how fast I actually learned the songs. It was really cool. Around 10 though, we stopped after I had learned the 3 new songs that weren't on the cd. We are also going to do 2 Misfits Covers. So that will be kickass. But yeah, I guess I have about 9-10 songs down with them. We have practice for like 8 hours on Saturday, I get today off... So I'm not sure what i'm doing today. I guess i'll just hang around, and hang out with someone if they want to hang out. But yep... Awesome Practice. Looking forward to tommorow.
