Oh MY
Oh my, so yesterday was an okay "day"... The First day of Hanakuh was awesome though ^_^!
First Block - Drama, There's this new student in there.... confused me at first, but yeah then we directed our plays and stuff...
Second Block - Geometry... I think we all fell asleep... all as in... whole class.
Third Block - ISS II Mr. Watson was just being a jerk I suppose...
Fourth Block - English, was an okay class period, we took a test that I probably aced... and I got to give Mrs. Kaye a few of my poems to read. So that was kind of cool, I hope she likes them.
We had to have a concert band thing after school.... arg. I had to be there and I didn't even play... but yeah it wasn't until 6.
So I went home and played drums along with my dishwashers cd to help learn the songs, I was just playing around on my crappy drumset, It doesn't even have a hi-hat clutch... haha... But I still used it.
Okay so at 5:40 ish I went to the school dressed in a suit in tie.. like normal, but for a formal occasion... I get there, and mr. williams is like, no andrew, where's you khaki pants... and i'm like... WTF? Is a suit not good enough for you... I wasn't aware that we had to wear khaki pants ... He insists that he told me, but I know better that he didn't. But yeah what ever... So yeah, I borrowed some clothes from someone else, that were ridiculously big. So it kind of sucked... I sat in the back the entire concert and did nothing. Then left at 7:30 ish, my mom was freaking raging with anger, she went off on Mr. Williams saying pretty much she doesn't pay for me to sit in the back and do nothing. Mr. Williams turned his back on my mom.... not a good idea... ahem...Yeah anyways...
I went to my moms car... and there she blew... the beauty of my dreams the hottest chick alive... a pearl export drumset. AHHHH! It was amazing, my mom had gotten me the drumset I wanted to go on tour with before practice this thursday. So that was totally kick ass. But yeah, SO I was like in a hurry to get home. I got home, put it together, and then noticed it was really freakin de-tuned... so I went through all my dad's stuff and found a rachet that actually works like a drum key, its sweet. So I got to tune my drums... half-assed... Cause I suck at tuning... lol. But My bass drum actually tunes without sticking a cover or pillow in it... It's so deep. Its awesome, and apparently the bass drum pedal didn't come with it, so the guy at MusicZone grabbed the closest one he could find, it turns out when I got it... I noticed it was like... a 250$ pedal... Its awesome. My hi-hat stand is so hardcore too! Like its freakin... solid... The drums are awesome too. They are all jet black, with jet black rims. The lugs are the only silver things on them. Its great. I changed out the heads already cause the crappy ones on it always suck. I'm using my snare drum too. So it makes it sound amazing. I just have to find someone who really knows how to tune drums haha... Here's some pictures.
