She has kissed him before, once, maybe years and younger than she is right now. There is a well-placed memory of how exactly his fingers in her hair should feel. When he kisses her now, his mouth is warm and she is opening hers to a sigh, keeping herself in that tight, uncomfortable position.

(I find it incredibly weird that you are into Bleach now. Man, that fandom. Those were the days...)

lol Zau, I can't even explain how any of this happened. All I can say is that my head canon most definitely involves the two of them being secretly married and Nanao being a quiet mentor to Rukia, etc.

ha ha. the last time i enjoyed something on the Bleach manga was when we were showed flashbacks of Nanao being a little kid in Soul Society and already under Shunsui's orders and she was totally crushed on him and he was totally in love with her even though she was like ten years old (or looked like it, I don't know how age works in Soul Society, and Kubo Tite is like the worst writers ever but oh well, my Bleach ships -Shunsui/Nanao, Byakuya/Rukia, Urahara/Yoruichi- I will never regret shipping them, they are so beautiful).

I think the second movie officially convinced me that Shunsui and Nanao are basically married and totally in love and have dates in the library where she's trying to get stuff done and he pouts and occasionally contributes to the conversation. But I ship Ichigo/Rukia and Byakuya/Rukia. Byakuya/Rukia is so fascinating to me tooooo and Byakuya and his emotionally repressed self. Urahara and Yoruichi are just too perfect too.

But loollll Zau, I'm enjoying it all.
