Fated, this is perfect. Every little thing. I love the repetition of the image of her fingers curling. The repetition of this isn't a game and how off his scruff feels beneath her hand.

Her noticing that he looks good, but that his face shows signs of age, echoes what I as a viewer feel when I look at House/Hugh.

Every bit of these studied, paced interactions between House and Cameron feel so real and natural I saw it all play out for me. Felt it, too. All that's between them.

She clenches her jaw. “Why are you here?” she asks ( ... )

I love this line... I swear I wouldn't be too dssapointed with something like this actually happening on this show.

Basicaly, this should be. It just should be. And it should be exactly like this: natural, intimate, quiet. Also, exceptionally written *g* They deserve nothing less.
