I have been sitting here for awhile trying to figure out how exactly to convey how much I love this. Because, dear lord, Chrissy. This is excellent. It's painful and lonely and sad and the inevitability you craft for these two people is just incredible. I love the way you write the both of them - how sure yet frightened she is, and how nervous yet confident he is. It's fantastic.

AND ROSE AND MATTHEW. ROSE AND MATTHEW AND GUILLAUME AND MARION! I love, love, LOVE that Rose was there for her in all of this and the parallels between Diane and Michael, Rose and Matthew (Matthew who’s never been more than just a little braver, as Rose tends to say. IDK THAT LINE WAS A PUNCH TO THE GUT), Marion and Guillaume were all just spot-on and so, so well done. Additionally, that Paris scene? HOT. But it's not just hot - there's a quiet desperation you craft for these two and it works, it works so, so well. As does the exhaustion coupled with the spotlight you convey; that end section is perfection. I love that you managed to take what is basically

Haha. I totally went to RPF!babyfic territory and loved it. I kind of spent the week going back and sort of drifting through all sort of baby!scandal stuff; you have sympathize with these women, you know, whether they're pregnant or not, it brings all sorts of insecurities to the surface and that's kind of what I wanted to do? I think there's a level of our generation's celebrity obsessions that makes these people completely exposed in ways that they not only don't want but don't expect to be. ~END OF PHILOSOPHICAL THOUGHTS LOL~
