Anyway, the fic. As you know is love. Seriously, between you and teenwitch77, I'm dying here! GUh, the bed scene was just....and I quote....#$(*@_($)*@#_$(*@$)%*&$(*%$(*%$! Sometimes, there's more to be said for the subtlety of sexual tension that you can cut with a knife versus all out fucking. D'ya know what I mean? They're hanging on a wire, these two. The looks, the fragmented conversation, I could see the Eye!Secks in my head as clearly as I can see it on the show.
The porn channel thing was LOL, because you know every hotel has one. Ha! Realllllllllllly looking forward to seeing what happens next!
As always, the writing was pitch perfect.

It's all about pushing and pushing to their wit's end. It's going to be interesting, that's for sure. *grins*
I'm so glad you're enjoying, love.

*laughs* It's actually exactly what I'm aiming for. ♥ As for the word, "eerie", thank you. *grins* I like the word too.
I'm glad you're enjoying it.

I loved, in particular, this entire section from "She knows that he would prefer the fight" to "They both lost something that night. He was too cruel. She was too careless. But things happen, she guesses." Possibly because I had recently watched Love Hurts (was it that the episode title? I'm pretty sure it is).
You bring back the trepidation, the inevitable feelings of hurt and uncertainty from that dinner that carries over into this moment, stuck in a room together. And with the uncomfortably close proximity comes an unspoken opportunity again.
Awesome. Just awesome.

It was like watching a car crash--from a House/Cameron shipping perspective. I don't think I can legitimately call myself a shipper of any sort, but you are rapidly persuading me in that direction.
I think that scene rather reinforces the point of not setting conditions when your boss wants to hire you back. *laughs* Certainly not the personal kind. And certainly not when your boss has a gift for snark and doesn't flinch from being verbally brutal when he wants to. I admire Cameron for taking the initiative, though, and going after what she wanted.
