While she isn't in Nautilius, the fact remains that Madoka is Homura's best friend,
her reason for existing, and the person who she gave up her humanity,
her happiness, and life for in repeated time-travels past.
She will do anything for her, at the cost of her own personal gain,
and to anyone who gets in her way?
There is no mercy. Now that Madoka has sacrificed herself, Homura carries her
with her by the red ribbon she was given,
deciding on her own that she will protect the world Madoka believed worth saving.
After all, it is her duty as her best friend. She fought for her in timeines past,
repeatedly, with no hope of gratitude or her own salvation, simply to ensure Madoka's safety,
happiness and her request to not suffer as a Puella Magi.
Even when Homura was forgotten, even when Madoka considered her a stranger,
even then--anything she can do now is worth it.

Sakura Kyouko was originally a threat, someone who would endanger Madoka.
She regarded her as one, going so far as to imply that she would destroy her
if she involved Kaname Madoka in her struggle
against Sayaka Miki. As Sayaka Miki is precious to Madoka,
she decided to watch over her, thus threatening Kyouko
if she harmed Sayaka. She is from before the rewritten universe,
so Homura is hesitant on how to act towards her,
but finds that she isn't causing much trouble.
For now, they are living together, but knowing Kyouko,
it will be interesting.

Homura isn't sure what to think of Helen yet.
She isn't a threat, but her words hit close to home.
She doesn't like how she seems to have an inkling of what she hides
behind her chilly persona, and yet at the same time her kindness
towards her is..surprising. As long as she doesn't delve too deeply..
things should be alright. People like her are ones that Madoka, no, Homura also,
wanted to originally protect in the world.
She'll keep an eye on her, for her own reasons.
