Okay, with that creepy stalker business aside, this week I really need to focus on Chemistry this weekend. A lot of chemistry. Barf.
As an aside, Monday I have an appointment. I noticed I have this...weird lump thing... that protrudes from my arm (below the wrist a bit) that shows ONLY when I flex the muscles in it. Gah. I REALLY hope I don't need surgery. T__T;; *worries* I hope it's just a muscle? *Weak laugh* But I know that's not the case... because the human body is symmetrical. Also there's really no definite muscle in that area, either. I do not have the same lump on my other arm. Maybe it's from writing (it's on my writing arm..)? :/ IDK!
COSPLAY WISE. I didn't do much except UNEARTH my DEFAULT!DIST COSPLAY. YES. Win! 8D I was doing some touch ups on it, re-tacking the shoulder pads, fixing the pants, etc. Mmm. I might just as well wear that for Anime Boston again. Ahhh. I love this costume so much (COAT TAILS!!) it's a pity I only wore it once!!!!!!! Needs moar publicity!!!!!
ALSO: I have a HUEEEEEGGGG labcoat that I got from my dad (yay free coats), it's PERFECT but it's like an extra large and I'm totally an extra small...so when I get time, I'm going to rip up the seams and HOPEFULLY bring everything in to make it fit me better. ;;;;;;; The coat is perfect otherwise. ;_;
And speaking of cosplay. Well. I wore my coat tail jacket around the house for a bit. ^^;;; I noticed my Dist jacket is kind of looser now. I only made it year ago. And I'm noticing some of the tighter fitting clothes I wear is getting looser too. Gah. Maybe I'm losing weight (today my dad again said "you're too thin," which I replied with an instinctual "no wai!!!!") Or MAYBE I'm just losing my mind. But I did notice my ribs stick out more now...
Aaaaaaaaaand more importantly: WORK-WISE... let's see. We just got a new microbiology aide! This is because the current one, Corey, is leaving us (he's going to work at a biotech institute in Mystic, Connecticut. Just got the job today. D8). Her name is Ann! She's actually someone I met long before, in my chemistry lab final at URI. She's currently a Micro major, but is definitely considering becoming a Lab tech instead... thanks to all of us techs (or techs-in-the-making*cough*me*cough*) persuading her ever so gracefully. Heh! Yeah. So she remembers me from all that time ago (last December). ^___^ Made me happy. At the end of my shift I chitchatted with her for a bit. We totally have SO many things in common it's not even funny, heh. XD So I'm really happy she's working at Kent now. Finally, someone on my level at my work! Whee! 8D
So that's pretty much it. Now I guess I'll go do a bit of patchwork on my Dist cosplay, then maybe watch an episode of House, MD. Yep. *sips tea* Oh my brother lent me his copy of Last Remnant. I won't get to that til AFTER Anime Boston. I know it. XDDD
(I really should be studying Chemistry, haha)
