Vampire Knight
If there's someone who is a Vampire Knight fan about to read this entry here, please don't feel insulted kay? :)

Whenever I go to school (or used to, since it's summer vacation now), all my friends would at least mention Vampire Knight at least once. Back then, it wasn't much, for me. It was just, 'oh, look, my friends who don't mind shoujo are watching another shoujo. Guess I'll just not comment on this because for some reason I want to kill someone when I watch shoujo...except Ouran.'. It's not like they TALKED ABOUT IT 24/7 like they did with some other stuff before. Gundam 00, actually, we talked about that 24/7 but that's cause Gundam 00 is like...GREAT.
ANYWAY. I figured Vampire Knight = Gurren Lagann. You obsess about it, then you don't because...yeah. My friends didn't really talk about it that much afterwards (except one who would argue with me shoujo vs shounen, but we always clash about stuff like that so it wasn't a big deal). So it was like, 'hokay, no more VAMPIRE KNIGHT.' Then, we go to Richmond Center and we hang out at Seoul of Anime, and lo and behold. Vampire Knight. So that set them off talking about it for a while. Note: these aren't the same friends from school, these are friends from one of my outside classes. So I was just like, 'HO LOOK! A GUNDAM! You guys stay here and talk about how hot Kaname is, and I'll go see if I can bring home that big Virtue Gunpla while carrying it under my shirt.' Of course, I couldn't, because it was the size of my entire torso.
Then, everytime I go on facebook, at least half of my newsfeed has stuff about Vampire Knight. Someone commented on someone's wall about Vampire Knight. Someone commented on a photo of a Vampire Knight manga book or a screenshot of....I dunno, Kaname or Yuuki or something. Yet again, someone joined a group about FREAKING VAMPIRE KNIGHT. GOD. This reminds me of the time I had a schoolmate who would talk constantly about MCR. EXCEPT. Tuning her out was okay because it was only one person. BUT WHEN THE WHOLE WORLD TALKS ABOUT VAMPIRE KNIGHT, it's next to impossible unless you decide to go insane so you won't have to. HOPEFULLY, this will end up like Naruto, where it's all like, 'SQUEEEEEE KANAME!!!!!!!! SQUEEEE YUUKI!!!!! SQUEEE VAMPIRES!!!!' and then it'll be all like, 'wow look at all this merchandise, why did I waste money on this action figure and this manga when I could've used it to buy like...I dunno....a real-life Death Note...?'
