Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! He does run, sometimes for good reason. I always liked that bit where the Dreamlord said he was the person who most hated the Doctor in the universe.

Tis all good, bb!! I'm just glad you got the reply (though sorry about the Rant, omfg...Eleven says we're still going ahead. Won't be as Epic as yours, but...)

Gods, I love his Dark!Side. I wanna see MS play a bad guy so bad I can TASTE it, because he taps that darkness in Eleven so well and I just crave it! Youse has satisfied that need. And OMG, watch him RUN. But he can't run from himself...can he?

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. I enjoy that darker side of him. He is troubled, even if he tries to hide it, and hates so much of himself. Its part of what makes him so fascinating.

I always love the Dream Lord episode. It really illustrates how the Doctor's self hatred is founded in a good amount of fact. Everything he says is true (even though it ignores the positive). I love how you've built on the idea here, that he can never ever get away from that side of himself, that it's always there waiting for him.

Really well done and gorgeously written as usual.

I loved that ep, which was obviously inspiration for this piece. That hate of himself could drag him under in its strength, and the fact he can't just shake it off when so much of it is based in truth. Though like you say, it ignores the positive, so much positive. He can't escape that hate, that darker side of him.

Great piece, i love all the unravelling of his dark side, his insecurities, his guilt and all the conflict inside him. Ugh. 11 is so so dark, he carries so much, and it's so at odds with his childlike side; this is what i love about 11, those 2 sides of him warring inside - right here.

Thanks hun. I love the way we see this darker side with Eleven, like you say, the way it wars with the more childlike side of him. I always get shivers when he gets quietly angry, and it clenches my heart when we see that self hatred. He is so conflicted and complex. Glad you enjoyed this.
