Ten secrets...
Nine loves...

Eight fears...
  1. Crowds...I hate being in crowded places. I can feel my blood pressure going through the roof. The grocery stores is one of the worst. I don't know that it's exactly a fear, more a severe dislike. The noise, people standing to close or standing in the way and being to ignorant to move, makes me want to scream some days. Symptom of growing up in the country.

  2. I'm slightly claustrophobic. I went into a glow worm cave a few years back, it gave me the creeps, that niggling little worry that its all going to cave in on me. I also hate having blankets or the like wrapped too tight around my feet, I have to kick them off.

  3. Clowns. Well not just clowns, any person dressed up as Cartoon characters will do it too. I went to Movie World on the Gold Coast when I was a kid, I spent all day dodging Goofy and Mickey Mouse. I vaguely remember Mum taking me to see Santa in the park when I was maybe 5, I think mum has a picture of me sitting on his knee glaring at her, I barely stayed long enough to get the present she had bought for him to give to me. I think I even knew the guy in the suit.

  4. Public speaking. Hate it with the passion of a thousand suns. I did some cattle judging when I was in my early teens which helped a lot. Gave the valedictory speech when I was in year ten, my mum said she couldn't help chuckling at the biggest thank god thats over sigh I did as I hurried of stage.

  5. They're not nightmares, but I often have dreams of tornadoes, sometime tsunamis or volcanoes, running from them, being caught in them etc. I guess the power of mother nature awes and frightens me. I love watching storms though *shrugs* Also fast flowing water, flooded creeks etc. My brother used to torment me when we were kids and would take tubes in the gully near our house after rain, teasing me about getting swept away. Mum has this photo that I kinda love of him holding me in his arms when I was about 6 or 7 with this big cheesy grin, the next photos is of me spluttering in the water after he dropped me.

  6. Frogs. I won't touch them, hubby has to put them outside whenever one gets in the house. Again I blame my big brother. When I was a kid he would take great delight in burying toads in my sand pit and laughing at me when I'd find them and run away. He was the world biggest torment but I love him to bits, we have such similar personalities.

  7. Cars. It started with my dad when we would be driving around the paddock and come to a dam, he would drive up on the bank and around the water, I was terrified the car was going to tip over and fall in the water. One of my earliest memories is of driving at night with dad, I think he was checking on a cow that was calving or something, and he ran into a washout. I was only about two and slid off the seat. We were probably only doing about 10km/hour. Dad got a fright and worried over me, I wasn't hurt but I distinctlly remember it. Also had a car accident when my hubby was driving 10 years ago. I'm still a nervous passenger, its drives him nuts.

  8. Dying. I remember as a kid falling asleep and feeling like I was being smothered by nothingness, that I and everything else had ceased to exist, there was literally just nothingness. I would wake up terrified and have to turn the lights on. It happened a few times from when I was about 6 till probably around 8 or 9. I don't know what brought it on.
