30 Days of SPN...days 5 & 6
See I knew I was doing these two at a time for a reason. My damn modem is fried again, the replacement one lasted a whole day. Crap ass internet providers and their cheap crap modems. Have to wait till they send out yet another replacement. Fortunately I do have internet connection as we got a second plan for when hubby's travelling (yeah ok and for all the times when my usage isn't enough cause I apparently live on the internet now) but its already over its usage as I have had to use it for the last fornight and its not as good a plan as my main plan. Woe Woe Woe...I really am addicted to the internet. So yet again posting from work, I'm so very dilligent.
Day 5 - Favourite Epsiode
Ok first off I'm going to cheat and list my favourite episodes from each season then I'll try and pick a favourite one out of those. Just beacuse I'm bored and feel like boring whoevers reading this by blabbering on and on.
Season 1 - Home, Scarecrow, Faith & Devils Trap
Season 2 - In My Time of Dying, Tall Tales, What Is And What Should Never Be & All Hell Break Loose
Season 3 - Bad Day at Blackrock, A Very Supernatural Christmas, Mystery Spot & No Rest For The Wicked
Season 4 - Lazurus Rising, In The Beginning, On The Head of a Pin, Monster at the End of This Book, The Rapture & Lucifer Rising
Season 5 - Free to be You and Me, The End, My Bloody Valentine, Darkside of the Moon, Point of No Return, Swan Song
Its hard enough to narrow down my favourite eps from each season, especially for season 4 and 5, could have added in Yellow Fever, It's The Great Pumpkin Sam Winchester, Death Takes a Holiday or When the Levee Breaks for seaon 4 or Sympathy For The Devil, Abandon All Hope, The Song Remains The Same, Changing Channels or Two Minutes to Midnigt for seaon 5. Quite obvious that these two are my favourite seasons. Ok I'll try and pick a favourite.....
I can narrow it down to three, On the Head of a Pin, The End and Point of No Return. No surprises that these three eps are pretty heavy on the Dean and Castiel intereaction and also emotional angsty ones. OTHOAP shows the strengthinging of their bond, TE shows Castiel still with Dean right to the end and PONR shows their bond almost breaking but even then Castiel still keeps giving everything for Dean.
I could easily pick any of these three as my favourite. All three hit it for me on an emotional level, mytharc, actionpacked, character tension, writing, directing, I could go on. Hmmm ok we got Sad lost Cas, Hippie beyond hope broken Cas, and Pissed off holding onto a last shred of faith and will lose it if that is taken away Cas, Broken I'm not strong enough Dean, Hard and cold future!Dean/don't ever change present!Dean and lost all hope Dean. So hard to choose between any of those. So hard in fact that I don't think I can *shrugs* hey I thought I did pretty good narrowing it down to just three.
Day 6 - Least Favourite Episode
This one is a little easier as there really aren't any episodes I don't like, least favourite would be either Bugs or Fallen Idols. Even so I still watch Bugs most times I rewatch season 1, its got some nice brother banter in it. Have only seen Fallen Idols once, can't really remember it so I guess I'm going to go with it as my least favourite.
On a side note I have actually pretty much finished my casfest fic so YAY! Of course there's only 2 weeks to finish my deancasbigbang which is still only sitting at 11,000 words as I haven't touched it for weeks, really starting to doubt I'll get it finished in time. If there was anyone that wanted to read over it and see if its any good and maybe give me the kick in the ass I need to finish it feel free to let me know, my muse has apparently packed its bags and headed off for points unknown and failed to leave a forwarding address.
