Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it, Dean sacrificing himself for Cas is something that seems to be in my thoughts a lot. This little scene jumped into my head while I was trying to get some writing on my bigbang done and refused to go away. I just kept seeing angry Cas storming through hell and had to write it before he smited something.

This made me sad. This is what I needed from the show, from canon, for Dean to do something for Cas, give something in return, realise just how far he'd go for the angel. You captured Dean's self-loathing very well, not believing Cas, or anyone, would give up so much for him... and Cas' devotion for Dean too, and how nothing is more important to him, than Dean being alright. Loved this, hun! <3

*huggles* I know, I wanted something in canon showing how far Dean would go for Cas too. Still sticking my fingers in my ears and humming loudly about some of the writing at the end of season 5.
