Rage filled his veins. Her blood, her life, her pain was drenching his senses. With a flash of crimson eyes he turned to Rizelle who met him with a sadistic smile.
Chrno snarled, “You have gone to far Rizelle! This was supposed to be a deal only between us! You had no right to involve her!”
“Chrno, my dear, she was involve from the very beginning. Don’t you see? It is you who has caused those around you so much pain.”
Rizelle smiled wider as his expression fell. “Magdalene died for you. And this nun shall soon follow her path too if this silly contract continues. I cannot see how you can actually stand to be with such lowly filthy creatures. Just being in their presence gives me the lust to kill and smear their blood everywhere.”
“No.. I-” whispered Chrno. He couldn’t seem to formulate any words to what Rizelle’s words had said. The words of the painful truth he had refused to acknowledge 50 years ago.
“Now, now Chrno. We have a limited amount of time here before the plane will crash so I suggest you maker your decision with haste.”

Rosette was floating in the darkness. Her body seemed cold wrapped in the nothingness. She rubbed her arms together searching for any sign of light or exit out of his emptiness. Something was wrong and she needed to leave this place soon.
Yet in each direction she looked, nothingness stretched out before her eyes. She continued to float aimlessly until a soft glow could be seen from the distance. With hope she rushed toward it. Closer and closer she got with each step until she could make out the faint outline of a person.
“Chrno!” she called and ran faster. The figure turned toward her and smiled with a daze and distant look. Rosette couldn’t help but wave, but froze at the next words echoed from him.
“Who are you?”
“What? Chrno it’s me Rosette! You know me! I’m your friend remember! Come on Chrno don’t joke like that!” she nervously laughed, but the figure only gave her a puzzled look.
With a slight shake of the head she smiled, “I’m sorry but I don’t know you.”
She was screaming now, not wanting to believe what he was telling her. “NO! You do know me! I’m Rosette! We work at the Magdalene Order! Look Chrno! We have to get out of here! So stop fooling around and come with me!” She made a move to tug at his hand, but he pulled out of her grip.
He analyzed her with a look of annoyance and frowned. “I’m sorry. I don’t know any Rosette. I do know a Magdalene though, but the name Rosette doesn’t ring a bell.”
“No!”
“I’m sorry but I have to leave now. Good-bye Miss.”
“No! Don’t leave me Chrno! Not alone!”
He ignored her words and walked off engulfed into the darkness. She could only sink to her knees and sob. He didn’t remember her. He wasn’t coming back. He had left her alone.

“Tick-tock Chrno! The plane is soon to crash along with all your disgusting little humans if you don’t decide now!” said Rizelle in a sing-song voice. He grunted in reply, trying to stop the bleeding from Rosette’s head. The impact was strong and she desperately needed professional medical attention.
“You know Chrno, if you do choose to come with me, you’re pathetic humans will live for today. If not, well I have no issue with seeing you all die in the crash this plane will soon experience.”
He looked desperately at Rosette. Her skin was turning paler as each second passed while her body grew cold. She wasn’t going to make it if he didn’t decide now. Also the plane was losing altitude slowly. None of them would survive if he couldn’t choose.
“Allright Rizelle. You win.”
